Age 69, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. Ken was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 23, 1953, and was raised by his late grandparents, John and Anna (Melchi) Keckler. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. (Liles) Keckler; children, Michael Hamilton, Michele (Jeremy Donaldson) Hamilton, Logan Keckler, Mikki Keckler Bailor and Troy Starks; grandchildren, Billy Hamilton, Jordan Hamilton, Amber Bailor, Taylor Bailor, Blake Bailor, Ken Starks and Veronica Starks; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucy Simonds, Kaye Fortune and Maggie Wright; brothers in-law, Raymond Liles, Jim (Sue) Liles and Ron Liles and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ken was preceded in death by his brother, John DeYoung and mother, Velma Watkins. Ken loved fishing and enjoyed listening to oldies music while taking a drive to the lake with his family and sitting outside taking in the fresh air. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and no service is scheduled at this time.
