A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Thursday, June 6, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 73, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka, IN, on May 26, 2024. She was born in Bald Knob, AK, on January 14, 1951, the daughter of the late Hersel Laxton and Edith (Loyal) Burchard. Lois was kind, loving and generous. She lived her life to the fullest and leaves behind many wonderful memories which will be cherished. Lois loved her family and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who was happiest when spending time with those she loved. Her heart and her home were always open. She worked hard at the local school and made a great impact on the lives of the children who passed through the halls. When not working she enjoyed arts and crafts, shopping and being out and about. Lois loved the holidays and always went “all out” to make sure they were memorable. Her smile and laughter will be missed. ON December 31, 1981, she married Mark F. Reynolds who survives. She is also survived by three sons, Todd Wilkins, Mark (Darla) Reynolds, William (Jessica) Reynolds; grandchildren, Cody, Dalton and Wyatt Wilkins, Orion Reynolds, Izabella and Hadlee Reynolds; Lois was excited to know that she had another grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry (Sherry) Laxton, Valerie (Dave) Ward, Cherie (Troy) Cantwell, James Burchard; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by an infant sister.
