May 18, 1943 - October 22, 2023

A service in witness to Mike’s life and faith will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. noon at Calvary Bible Church East, 5495 East Main St., Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family one and a half hours prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be given to Centrica Care Navigators, in c/o the funeral home.

My prayers and special thoughts are sent to Fran, Beth, Shelley, and the entire family. He was a special person who was very kind. He was married to my special friend, Fran, and was a wonderful gift to her. I'm sorry I had to miss the service but i want you to know I was there in spirit. Love, Nancy

I knew, and became a friend of Mike's during Work Weeks at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp. He became a telephone, text and occasional "meet me for lunch" friend. Mike came to my place 3 times last winter to help overhaul the Camps Ford Tractor. Through "rubbing shoulders" with Mike, I came to appreciate him and have a real love as a Christian Brother for him. I'll miss him greatly. I offer my deepest condolences to the family, he was a great man. Gary
