A memorial celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo, on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 12:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Kalamazoo or the Interlochen Center for the Arts, c/o the funeral home.

I was sorry to hear of Nancy's passing last Monday night at Chorale's rehearsal. The Kalamazoo Community Chorale is how I got to know Nancy. We noticed one day that we both had bought the same ring from QVC. Hers was yellow gold and the 7 diamonds represented her 7 grandchildren, mine was white gold. We agreed that we both had good taste! It is clear from her obituary that she touched many lives. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Nancy. I had the great pleasure of working with Nancy periodically teaching in Region 5 (in Three Rivers) and she was always an amazing mentor to interact with. Her imprint on the arts an teaching will long be remembered. I am hopeful that you all are finding peace and love amidst the grief as you navigate this trying time.
