Age 74, passed away early Monday morning, December 4, 2023. Polly was born in Detroit, on May 26, 1949, the daughter of Thomas George and Polly (Donnelly) Hutton. On July 31, 1992, she married Fred Baker who survives her. Polly was a hard-working person and had a long career as a bank teller in the area. She made friends wherever she went. A dedicated dog person, she was devoted to her three beagles, Chester, Ike, and Happy. She enjoyed hanging out with friends and having lunch and going to movies with friends. As a child she was raised in the Episcopal church. Her perfect day included being at the pool with her dogs. Polly was a very giving person. The thing she gave of the most was her love for her family and friends. Besides her husband, Polly is survived by bonus son, Justin (Cherie Marshall) Baker; grandchildren, Zalia Baker; bonus grandson, James Barber; sister, Frankie Hutton; brother, Thomas (Patrice) Hutton; brother-in-law, Karl Landgraf; nephews, Thomas (Michele) Hutton and Matthew Hutton; grandniece, Claire Hutton and grandnephew, Thomas “T4” Hutton and many, many friends. Polly was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Christine Landgraf.
