A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators, in c/o the funeral home.

I had the honor of working with Bob for several years at HomeLife. He taught me so many things that I still use to this day. He was so selfless, kind, loving, caring, and full of light. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him. Glazed donuts from Sweetwaters were our thing, we would take turns bringing them to each other when we worked together. When it was time for me to transition out of homelife to my “big girl” job following graduation, we cried as we hugged on my last day. Bob was truly a gift to this world and everyone around him. My love and good thoughts go to the family during this time.
