The family had a private graveside service on November 1, 2024. Family and friends are invited to Bert's Celebration of Life Open House to be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. -4:30 p.m. at The Venue 68, 68 East Michigan Ave., Galesburg MI. The family is appreciative of all the cards and donations that have been made. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that memorial donations may be made to WMU-CDS, in c/o the funeral home.

Bert was one of a kind! She was saucy, spicy, sweet but most of all filled with generosity and love for her family and friends. I enjoyed being her neighbor for years; she was like a second grandma to my children and we all hold those memories close to our hearts. Dear family, thinking of you all as you mourn her loss.
