Age 80, passed away at home on Sunday, August 29, 2022. Sally was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 8, 1941, the daughter of the late Vernon and Leeta Mae (Crosby) Peace. She was the fifth youngest of thirteen children. Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Peace on September 23, 1998. She was also preceded in death by nine brothers, including Jimmy Merriam, whom she was especially close to, and two sisters. Sally is survived by her only brother, Kenneth Merriam and many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date and interment will take place next to her husband at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Sally’s memory may be made to the American Lung Association.
