Age 65, passed away on Tuesday evening, June 08, 2021. Tom was born on October 21, 1955, the son of James and Nancy (Forbes) Brindley. Following his graduation from high school, Tom began his career at Green Bay Packaging Company in Kalamazoo, retiring after more than 30 years of dedicated service. He took great pride in his family. He absolutely loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tom was a member of several groups, including the Alcoholics Anonymous group, New Attitudes from Breedsville, F.B.B.F. (Forever Brothers, Brothers Forever), where he developed a passion for ministering to others, using his own life experiences to help those struggling with addiction and learn to live a happy, fulfilling and sober life. He taught others how to take life on life’s terms, assisting them in understanding that they are powerless over addiction and that when one gives their troubles over to God and surrender their perceived control, life indeed, gets much better. He helped many people and his legacy will never be forgotten by those that were touched by his love and compassion. The passion Tom felt in helping others was most definitely something his family is most proud of. He found great joy in his travels, going to the Sturgis, South Dakota Motorcycle Rally as often as he could. Tom loved to ride his Harley Davidson Electra-Glide motorcycle as much as possible. On February 25, 2000, Tom married the love of his life, Pauline Marie Moore, and together they made a very large, loving family. He and Paula would spend many days helping others and taking many trips over the years. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, baby sister Tammy Kay, and later, his sister, Pam Ramirez. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 21 years, Pauline Marie Brindley, their children, Lisa Miller, Marianne (Steve) Leppen, Jr.; Tammy (Rich) Thornburgh; Tony (Rustie) Brindley; Thomas (Julie) Brindley; Susie Brindley; James Brindley, Chad (Romanda) Guess and Garry (Angie) Hale, along with 34 grandchildren: Scott, Stephan, Devon, Jordyn, Ariel, Dustin, Brittany, Chelsea, Makaila, Jacob, Thomas, Jeffery, Brianna, Aubrey, Kristie, Al, Amanda H., Amanda, Tara, Jonathan, Kyle, Michael, Christopher, Justin, Steven, Destiny, Jimmy, Jamie, Blake, Tavion, Jhamil, Alecia, Kendra, Deric and 19 great-grandchildren and counting. He also will be missed by his siblings, sister, Paula (Larry) Thomason, brother, Dan Edward DeHoff, and his sister-in-law, Marchelle Poe. Tom is also survived many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
