A private graveside service will be held in which Virgiline will be laid to rest with her husband at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, 3941 S. Westnedge, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, c/o the funeral home.

Age 87, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020. Virgiline was born in Portland, MI, on February 10, 1933, the daughter of William and Irene (Hissong) Yerge. On July 3, 1951, she married Richard C. Percival who preceded her in death in 2000. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Nazareth Road. She dedicated herself to raising her family and creating a home for them. She also worked at Mary Lou Bakery for a time. She and her husband Richard enjoyed taking the family camping. Virgiline is survived by her children, Kathleen Hayes, Rebecca (Richard) Whitney, Richard (Bonny) Percival Jr., and Steven Percival; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and two sisters.
