Virginia "Ginny" L. Giese

July 23, 1942 - March 10, 2023

A memorial service to celebrate Ginny’s life will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Private interment will take place at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Residential Opportunities, Inc. or the ALS Association.

Dear Family: Please accept my deepest sympathies on Ginny's passing. I sang in the Bach Chorus with Ginny for many years with many fond memories of the wonderful after Christmas concert parties she so graciously hosted at her home (including the time when the electricity went off in a sudden snowstorm). I'm very grateful that I could join the chorus and sing at her service today. I will miss her. Blessings of peace and comfort, Sara Wick

David, Allen, and family - I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I have many fond memories of her when you lived in our neighborhood in Brookfield. We didn’t know Ginny, but we know her son, Allen. He married the daughter of our dear friends, Steve and Sue. Allen is a great guy and we know that doesn’t just happen. Obviously he was raised by kind and caring parents. Our condolences to the family at this difficult time.

Ginny was a dear lady that always shared her beautiful smile and her warm heart. She will be greatly missed at Trinity Lutheran Church.
