Alan Jay Hunt, age 78, of Delton, MI, passed away on September 22, 2026. He was born in Lansing, MI, on September 2, 1948, the son of the late Thomas Hunt and Nadine (Lee) Thomas. He made his home in Southwest Michigan, working as a salesman and longtime real estate agent. When not working he had many hobbies and activities which brought him joy. Alan will be remembered fondly by those who loved him. He is survived by four children, Elizabeth “Beth” (Rick) McCloy of Lansing, Shannon Werner of Charlotte, Alan J. Hunt Jr. of Charlotte and Anna Mae (Dan) Heinz of Delton; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Steve (Alicia) Hunt of Portland, and Jackson Hunt of Lansing; many extended family and friends.
