Obituary
Age 85, passed away peacefully late Wednesday night, April 13, 2022. Ardith was born in Hazel Park, MI, on October 2, 1936, the daughter of Edward and Jane (Long) Weir. Ardith was a loving mom who always welcomed her children’s friends into their home. She was an avid fan of the Detroit sports teams, especially the Detroit Tigers. She looked forward to taking the grandkids to a game, and they looked forward to it as well. She enjoyed going up north to Petoskey, Paradise and the Pictured Rocks. Having grown up on the farm, she loved her pets and all animals. Her family has fond memories of hosting them every Sunday for dinner. She had a quiet and loving Christian faith which sustained her. She will be deeply missed. Ardith is survived by her children, Anthony (Shawn) Hrab of Portage, Ricky (Jackie) Hrab of Portage, Nick (Jenny) Hrab of Vicksburg, and Shelly Hrab of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Heather Hrab, Heidi (Jason) Deason, Haley (Joe) Beilby, Anthony (Sadie) Hrab, Brady (Hannah) Hrab, Holly Hrab, Abbey Hrab; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, David Weir; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Tyler Edward Hrab; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Iris Weir; sister-in-law, Alison Weir.
To the Hrab Family, My sincere condolences for your loss. May all of you be comforted by the good memories you had together. Your sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother touched many lives with her generosity, kindness, and open door. Rest in Peace Ardith! ❤ 🙏
