In accordance with his wish cremation will take place and a private family service will be held. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 79, passed away at his home on July 12, 2023. He was born in Kalamazoo on November 2, 1943, the son of the late Horace and Doris (Stowell) Liggett. He was a hard worker and was very mechanically gifted. He loved animals and was very close to his loyal dogs, ‘Rudy’ and ‘Skeeter’. Arthur loved his family and friends. He will be missed by those who know him. He is survived by two sons, James (Michelle) Liggett and John (Denna) Liggett; three grandchildren, Erin, Taylor and Ethan Liggett; two siblings, Walter and Joan Liggett; nieces, nephews and friends. He was also preceded by five siblings, Mary, Donna, James, William and Audrey.
Ron…. I wanted you to know that I seen this I do hope that you will see it. I”m so sorry about Art”s passing I know you two were always close glad about that. Ran into Art ohhhh many years ago yeah we did know who each other was after all those years amazing! We had a good catch up talk. You take care keep strong.
