Obituary
Bettie Newman Sickles, born January 29,1917 in Elkhart, Indiana, daughter of Cecil and Vivian Allen Newman, went to heaven on May 1, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Sickles in 1981, their infant son and her brother Cecil Newman Jr. She is survived by daughters Pamela Daudert of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and Patricia Gunderson (James) of Fort Myers, Florida and Pine River, Minnesota.
Sincere condolences to Bettie’s family. I lived across the street from Bettie at Cherry Knoll for over 15 years. What a delightful lady she was — I have so many fond memories of her. Wishing you comfort and peace in your time of loss.
Bettie was a very special Bronson volunteer for many years. She volunteered in numerous service areas including serving as Auxiliary President. Bettie brought joy to our lives and will never be forgotten!
