Obituary
Age 78, passed away late Monday morning, June 17, 2024. Beverly was born in Wauseon, OH, on August 27, 1945, the daughter of Harold and Fern (Shaffer) Benedict. On March 19, 1966, she married James W. Munson who preceded her in death in 2021. Beverly was an accomplished quilter, weaver and knitter. She was a founding member of the Kalamazoo Log Cabin Quilters. She also enjoyed gardening and shared a special passion for daylilies. In their retirement she and James travelled all over the world. They especially liked visiting Sanibel Island, FL. Beverly is survived by her children: Kevin (Robin) Munson, Kira (Bobby) Campbell and Nathan Munson; her grandchildren: Erica, Jacob (Mackenzie), Matthew, Jessica, Jonah, Leo, Mattie and Iris; great-grandchild, Charlotte Anne; sister, Sharon (Lisa Quesne) Benedict; and many, many beloved friends. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents.
Kira, Kevin, Nathan, we’re so sorry to hear about your mom. May our Great Lord above, hold each of you in his precious arms and give you peace and comfort. I’ll miss her beyond belief. She’d always try to teach me to “Be Nice” and when I’d say, I’m always nice, she’d give me the look. All of us have become a better person because of her. Thanks for all the memories..
