A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Kalamazoo Valley, 5331 S. Sprinkle Rd., Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brittney will be laid to rest at Genessee Prairie Cemetery, Oshtemo Township. Contributions in Brittney’s memory may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 38 of Kalamazoo, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Brittney was born in Kalamazoo, on August 18, 1986, the daughter of James and Shelley (Mejeur) Jeffrey. Brittney was totally devoted to her marriage and her children who she loved more than anything. Brittney is survived by her husband Asim; her son, Azaan Baig; her daughters, Zehra and Nadia Baig; her parents, Shelley and Kenneth Anderson and James and Kathleen Jeffrey; siblings, Gregory Holcomb, Kathryn Jeffrey, Benjamin Jeffrey and Patricia Jeffrey; aunts and uncles; many cousins; and many friends. Brittney was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Betty Mejeur; paternal grandparents, Jack and Patricia Jeffrey; sister, Tara Mejeur.
August 30, 2025 I met Brittney years ago. I watched her mature and grow up into a responsible parent, family person, and mother. She liked walking, swimming with the kids, amusement parks and rides, and fire-works too. She had a number of skills, including drawing, arts and crafts, hair care and she liked cosmetology, and also hospitality. She was athletic and enjoyed swimming, and water sports. She enjoyed cookouts, and bar-b-ques. She attended different churches over the years. Brittney also talked about how to improve herself and children. May she rest in peace. Gary
