Cara Lynne (Scholl) Morris age 56, of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away at Borgess Hospital on February 3, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of Lynn R. and Charlene (Miller) Scholl. Cara was kind, loving and selfless. She worked hard as a Para-Professional for the Kalamazoo Public School system for many years. When not working she enjoyed cooking and baking, hosting Christmas and holiday events. She was a fan of all things “Winnie the Pooh” and took time to “smell the flowers”, especially in her garden at home. She loved finding treasures and had an eye for unique items. Above all Cara loved her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter who leaves behind wonderful memories to be cherished. On November 3, 1998, she married David Morris who survives. She is also survived by her children, Caresse M. Scholl, Antwon J. Hunter and Amanda D. Morris, Brandon and David Morris; many grandchildren; mother, Charlene Scholl; a brother, Michael Scholl; extended family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her father Lynn Scholl.
