Obituary
Age 81, passed away at home on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Carol was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 9, 1939, the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Margaret (VanAvery) Chambers. She is survived by her children, William “Marty” Russon, Becki Russon, Ron (Maggie) Russon and Kerri (Daniel) Gallagher; grandchildren, Mara Elaman, Alexandra Russon, Andrew Russon, Madison Russon, Sarah (Fred) Pitcher, Amanda Russon, Bridgette Gallagher, Abbigail Cowels, Daniel Gallagher and Dean Gallagher; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Zane, Layla and Isla; brothers, Richard (Cindy) and Thomas (Sandy) Chambers and sister in-law, Sharon Chambers. Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Chambers. Carol was an exceptional cook and baker and a skilled seamstress. She could fix just about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Carol’s family was the most important part of her life. She especially enjoyed summers and hosting pool parties at her house for her kids and grandkids.

I met Carol in the 80’s . We worked at The Decorating Corner together. When she started Spring Valley I got to know her better. Such a nice person. Always in a good mood with a smiling face. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss just found out about Carol’s passing. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to get by and see her but have been having health issues of my own. First Charlie and now Carol. Keeping the family in my prayers
