Obituary
Cathy Ann Wetherell, age 64, passed away on August 23, 2026. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on December 4, 1961, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Kosch. Raised in Kalamazoo she would remain a lifetime resident and began a family. Family was at the center of all that Cathy loved and her grandchildren were the light of her life. She worked hard as a cashier and when not working enjoyed knitting and cross-stich projects. She also had a fondness for animals and enjoyed her pet cats. Above all, Cathy loved her family and was especially proud of her son Travis. Her smile, laughter and love will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Travis (Samantha Cook) Wetherell; grandchildren, Landon and Tucker Wetherell; mother, Dorothy; siblings, Cheryl, Carol and Cindy. She was preceded in passing by her father, Donald.
I am shocked and saddened to read about Cathy’s passing. We worked closely together at KMart. I enjoyed still seeing her at Walgreens. My sincere condolences to her family.
She was always a dear when I seen her at Walgreens. Always took time to inquire about myself and my family. She will be missed.
I knew Cathy from Walgreens and then later on I started working with her sister Carol. I just seen Cathy last week at Walgreens and had a chat with her. I was so shocked when I heard today of her passing. My prayers and condolences to her family especially her sister, Carol.
