Age 25, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Christopher was born in Elkhart, Indiana on August 8, 1996. He is survived by his grandparents who adopted and raised him, Thomas and Judy (Jackson) Maida; uncle, Robert Allen; aunt, Gina Scaturro; cousins, Robert Allen, Jr., Olivia Allen and Marybeth Scaturro; second cousins, Arlo and Lilly Allen; girlfriend, Shyanne Gibson; best friends, Drew Webster and Dustin McCoy and several other aunts and uncles. Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Melanie Dudek and grandparents, Frank Maida and Robert and Irene Jackson. Christopher loved the outdoors and had a passion for riding dirt bikes. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation.

Tom, Judy & Shy, I am so sorry for your loss. I can’t even imagine what your going through. Even though Chris & I were together several years ago, he still holds a special place in my heart. It breaks my heart to know he’s passed.. This has really taken a toll on me. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

There is no greater loss than loosing a child, as you know all too well. Our hearts break for you both and wish there was something we could say to comfort you. Just know that you are in our thoughts and in our hearts.

The loss of this young man broke my heart. He was a dear friend to me and my family and we all loved Chris. We spent many a happy hour riding on the trails, and even chopping and splitting firewood. I’ll never forget his smile and his laughter. When we would tease him a bit, he always had a good comeback with a chuckle. His loss is, and will be leaving a big hole in our family. God Bless Him, and Tom and Judy in their grief. May the circle be unbroken……
