A service to commemorate his life will be held on Thursday, June 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Northeastern Baptist Church, 6536 East G Avenue. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. David’s cremated remains will be interred at Genessee Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Northeastern Baptist Church or the Kalamazoo Nature Center., c/o the funeral home

Age 65, was called Home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, June 3, 2019. David was born on August 26, 1953, in Grand Rapids, MI, the son of Nelson and Florence (McComb) Fox. Since he was a child he had an interest in trains and became an avid model railroader. He was a selfless individual who volunteered his HVAC services and other skills to those who were in need. He was an active member of the Northeastern Baptist Church, serving in choir, as a media technician, and as a volunteer in maintaining the church facility. Whatever he was doing he was passionate and gave it his all. In 1989, he rededicated his life to Christ. On May 4, 1991, he married Laura Kleis, who survives him. Besides Laura, he is survived by his brother James Fox of Apache Junction, AZ; sister, Nancy Ragsdale of Kalamazoo; a niece; a nephew; numerous brothers and sisters in Christ and many close friends.
In loving memory of our friend and brother in Christ, David H. Fox, Peace, Prayers and Blessings. David, you are now in the presence of the Lord – what joy and awe you must feel! And all your questions will now be answered. I wonder what has pleasantly surprised you the most. You were much loved on this earth. Nathan and I cared for you deeply. Dear Sister in Christ, Laura, We have always enjoyed seeing how faithful you and David have been at Northeastern Baptist Church, watching you singing In the Choir and so many other ways. We always loved chatting with you after the service when we visited our family. We are blessed to know that David is with his heavenly Father with no more pain or suffering.
