The McGuire family is very sorry for the loss of our good friend Derek. It was an honor to know him and work with him over the past 35 years. We will miss him and he will be remembered by us as a hard working honest person who valued friendship! God bless him!
Derek, you were always straight up. Always willing to do for others. Hardest working man ever. I always appreciated the fact you loved my cole slaw and asked for it at every family event. I always thought of you as family and always will. Your family is in my heart and on my mind.
To Marlene, Alisha Derek & Family,
Love and Prayers Jackie,
Alistair ( Hazel), John ( Anna), Olive ( Andy), Stephen (Ann).
Derek always make us feel welcome when we visited and made time for us. He will be missed.
Ive met him a few times when I was a kid. He had something about him that was comforting. Wish I knew him more. His brother Don went to the same Christian school I went to. He was much older than me but he was kind enough to still acknowledge me and be caring. Sad to lose someone still young with kids. My condolences to family and friends.
I am so sorry. DJ, and Mrs. Hunt, if I can help in any way, please let me know. I still just can’t believe it.
