Donna K. Jager

April 19, 1954 – March 17, 2021

The family is planning a graveside service to be held at a later date at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, where Donna will be laid to rest next to her parents.  Memorial contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, c/o the funeral home.

Obituary

Age 66, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Donna was born in Kalamazoo, on April 19, 1954, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (DeKam) Jager. She was employed for 30 years with the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed music, especially country/western. She also liked to swim. Donna is survived by her long-time friend and companion, Bob King of Kalamazoo; her siblings, Ken Jager of Kalamazoo, and Barbara Jager of Battle Creek; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

This sweet gal was the life of any gathering. She always had everyone laughing and you always knew when she was in the room. She will be missed at all our cousin gatherings and the family reunions. Rest in Peace dear Cousin Donna until we meet again.

Some of my fondest memories of DJ are softball, the Silver Moon and the big trip DJ, Nancy, Sug and I made to Cheyenne Frontier Days in 1979. That was a time!

Gone too soon. That DJ, what a girl. Fun , lively, life of the party. I remember Northwood Elem playground as little kids With my cousin Nancy and DJ. And the Silver Moon as 20 somethings. Donna will be missed.
