Edna M Armbruster

May 26, 1923 – March 20, 2018

In accordance with Edna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Caro, Michigan.

Obituary

Age 94, went to be with her Lord Tuesday morning March 20, 2018. Edna was born May 26, 1923, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; the daughter of William and Florence (Clark) Golden. She was married to Loren S. Armbruster from 1943 until his death in 1995. Edna had been a lifelong resident of Caro, Michigan and was employed by Manasse Jewelers for 18 years. She was a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro, until moving to Kalamazoo to be nearer to her family. Edna enjoyed her church, playing cards, traveling, and time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence Golden and her husband, Loren. She is survived by her sister, Doris Liversedge of Florida; her two sons, Curtis (Randi Black) Armbruster of Haslett, Michigan and Dennis (Kimberley) Armbruster of Omena, Michigan; and her daughter Vicki (Peter) Hanold of Portage, Michigan. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren and their families: Andrew Armbruster, Michael Armbruster, Melinda Spear, Kristin Irrer, Ryan Hanold, Justin Hanold, and Brandon Hanold; 13 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Dear Vicki and family, So sorry for your loss. Our church family at St.Paul has lost another faithful member. She was a very quiet and kind Christian lady who will be greatly missed.

Dearest Dennis, Kim and Family, there are no words to tell you how sorry we are. Please know that you are in our thoughts. Edna was born the same year that our dear mother Dolly was born. A very good year indeed.
