Edward C. Abajian
July 19, 1954 – April 25, 2020
In accordance with his wish, cremation has taken place and a committal service with full military honors will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
Obituary
Age 66, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Edward was born in Manhattan, New York on April 13, 1954, the son of the late Aram and Nina (Pantaloni) Abajian. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1977. Ed retired from Kalsec Co. He is survived by his children, Nicole (Jermeay) Smith and Alexander (Amber) Abajian and grandchildren, Rylan Marie Smith and Alexander James Abajian. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Abby Hostetter and stepfather, Joselyn Hilgarth.
Ted was so intelligent, with such a quick wit and great sense of humor. His adventurous spirit was enviable. He was just as at home with the Monks in Thailand as he was with his friends here stateside. He was such a wonderful friend and I was always so happy to hook up for dinner and share stories whenever he was in town. He will be missed so very much.
