Age 68, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Fred was born in Lansing, Michigan on February 8, 1954, the son of the late Fredrick L. and Elaine R. (Clark) Bindemann. Fred had a life-long career in the printing industry. He was active in Boy Scouts of American and achieved Eagle Scout status. Fred was a movie “buff”, had a great sense of humor and loved telling jokes. He will be missed by all who knew him. On July 3, 1999, Fred married the former Margaret “Marnie” L. Drzick, who preceded him in death on March 10, 2014. He is survived by his only daughter, Haley (Brandon) Terpstra; grandson, Christopher Oliver; his twin sister, Deena (Bill Jackson) Karson; youngest sister, Suzanne (Richard) Kelly; several nieces and nephews and his life-long best friend, Val (Cathy) Johnson. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place and no service is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be given to Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries.
I’m so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. I’ll remember him as a kind, intelligent and most of all hilarious friend. He was one of the cool guys and we shared many laughs back in the day. Thoughts are with Deena and Fred’s entire family. Rest In Peace, Fred. (skoodle)
