Obituary
Age 62, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021. Greg was born in Kalamazoo, on March 31, 1958, the son of Paul and Joan (Telfer) Collier. Greg proudly served our country as a member of the United States Air Force. He worked for over 32 years as a firefighter at Battle Creek VA Fire Department. Greg was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and golfing. He was also an avid Nascar fan. He loved watching Alabama football and was a dedicated fan. Nothing was more important to him than his family, especially his daughter and his three grandsons, who he adored. Those that are left to cherish his memory include, his daughter, Shelby (Christopher) Shaffer of Oak Grove, KY; grandsons, Brian, Landon and Tanner; sister, Marcie (Bob) Johnson; niece, Samantha Pace; nephew, Shawn (Libby) Pace; aunt, Charlene Burkett; cousin, April Jackson; many other relatives, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
