A committal service will take place in the chapel at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South in Kalamazoo on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions in Harold’s memory may be made to Hospice of Holland, c/o the funeral home.

Obituary

Age 96, passed away at Allegan County Medical Care Community on Sunday, October 14, 2018. Harold was born in Allegan, Michigan on September 20, 1922, the son of the late Alton and Eva (Emmons) Morgan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine L. Morgan; brother, Howard Morgan and sister, Lois Germain. Harold is survived by his children, Allen (Darlene) Morgan, Ernie (Cathy) Morgan, Harold (Barbara) Morgan, Alton (Carol) Morgan, Becky Brenner, Laura (Tim) Hunter, Susan Morgan and Debbie Morgan; step-sons, Dennis and Brian Rautanen; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Harold was one of a kind but I sure did love him. He told it how it was. Always knew what he wanted made everyday interesting. Rest easy my angel ? I will miss you more then you know.

He was quite the character. He always made my day interesting by the stories he told and being the jokester that he was. He had a special place in my heart. He will be missed greatly.

Harold was one of a kind. He will be missed in the halls at work. Always had a story and smirk on his face when he thought the story was funny, cute or he was going to be the victor in any situation that arose. I will miss those stories and those smirks and smiles.

Harold always greeted me on my way into work with a smile or a wave or a very funny story! I am going to miss him terribly!
