The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Haven Reformed Church, 5350 N. Sprinkle Rd. Kalamazoo, MI 49004, from 1:00-2:00 PM. A celebration of life where stories can be shared will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 PM. Obituary
Passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020. Hartlee was born February 15, 1994 in Kalamazoo. The son of Jim and Jacki Cook, Michelle Lucas and Mike Trierweiler. He graduated from Parchment High School in 2012 and went on to play football at Kalamazoo College and graduated with a Bachelors degree in 2016. He was a senior regional account representative for Solutions Medical Physicians Toxicology. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, caring for his land, playing softball with longtime friends and recently took a strong interest in golf. He had a lab mix named Scout, his right-hand hunting companion. He valued time with friends, family and his ‘Squad.’ Hartlee is survived by his biological parents, Michelle Lucas of Kalamazoo and Mike Trierweiler of Portland, parents Jim Cook and Jacki (Lucas) Cook of Kalamazoo, siblings Kevin Lucas, Carmen (Cook) Beemer, Brittany Cook, Logan Cook and girlfriend Caleigh Friedt, Austin Cook and girlfriend Megan Rahall and nephew Porter Cook all of Kalamazoo. Maternal grandmother Janie (Arens) Lucas of Westphalia and paternal grandfather Pat Trierweiler of Portland and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Louie and Toots Cook, Gary Lucas, Patty Trierweiler, Aunt Sue Witgen and Uncles Pat Cook and Kevin Lee Lucas.
We will always hold you close in our hearts, we love you and miss you so much Hartlee.

We sure are going to miss your smiling face. We absolutely loved it when you came to visit us. Know you hold a special place in our hearts and will be missed more than you know.
You will be missed. This was not a call that you want to get. Loved working with you, there will be no replacing you on how quick you were with responding to patient questions, office issues with any situation, your smile and friendliness you brought. I keep going to text you with questions then realize I can\’t. To soon this loss is my friend. My heart and prayers go out to your family and friends for healing and understanding.
