Passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017, at the age of 94. She was born in Hancock, MI, the daughter of the late TR and Beatrice Ward. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, Herbert “Bud” McDonnell; a son, Bruce Kaufmann; two siblings. Honey is survived by her daughter, Kim Elliott, of Portage; granddaughters, Emily (James) Horein, Jenica (Garrett) Polifka; two great-granddaughters, Evie and Kaiah Polifka. Honey will always be remembered for her “gratitude-attitude.” She had a lovely voice and was a Big Band singer in college. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
