Obituary

FLOWERS, Jacob K.
Kalamazoo
Age 1 1/2, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2022. Jacob was an extremely happy and bubbly baby boy who will be missed by many. The apple did not fall far from the tree and Jacob was similar in so many ways to his mom, Jennifer. He loved music, dancing to music, balls and balloons. He also loved kitties and doggies and always enjoyed trying to kiss and hug them. Jacob’s signature phrase was bye, only he said it as “byyyeee.” He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Lawson; father, Stephon Flowers; siblings, Kodel, Imani and Nevaeh; grandmothers, Debbie Lawson and Diane Gilmore; several aunts and uncles, including Matt and Brian (Crystal) Lawson; cousins, Evan and Chase; many beloved great-aunts and uncles and extended family members, including Michelle, Butch and Aaron Falor. A memorial service to celebrate Jacob’s all to short life will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM. A time of visitation will take place at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 PM. Memorial contributions in memory of Jacob may be given to Bronson Children’s Hospital.
