In accordance with his wish cremation will take place and a private family service will be held in the Spring. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 62, passed away at his home on February 24, 2021. James was born in Detroit, MI, on August 13, 1958, the son of the late Edward and Marie (Kraski) Klem. James was kind and gentle, with a quiet nature that made him a pleasure to know. He loved listening to music and was fond of classic rock n’ roll. Perhaps it was his private nature that drew him to the Upper Peninsula where he loved to visit and lived for a period of time. He was a hard worker even in the face of life changes and difficulties. James loved his family and those closest to him and he will be missed. He is survived by two sons, Michael (Kaytlynn) Klem and Thomas Klem; two grandchildren, Adaline and Miles Klem; three sisters, Carol Kennedy, Pat (Tom) Block, Nancy (Chris) Sundberg; a brother, Robert (Susan) Klem; many nieces, nephews and friends.
I am going to miss seeing you. You will always be alive in my heart. Love You, Pat
I am saddened and surprised to read Jim’s obituary. I was his Shipt shopper for the last couple of years. It was a pleasure to shop for him and I always enjoyed our visits. I will miss him. My sympathies to his family. He was a really great guy!
