John had such a powerful impact in my life. John was one of our faithful members at Kalamazoo Covenant Church and in particular our Men’s Bible Study. He had so many words of wisdom to share with us and set the bar high for us to follow as followers of Christ. One quote that many of us in the class to this day is “Life is full of choices – choose wisely!”. It was such a privilege to have conversations with him about his early life, his wife Grace, his family and his days serving his country. His love for his family and country was evident. I will miss John and our talks and sharing our love for Jesus. I know John heard those words we all want to hear “Well done thy faithful servant!” Peace and comfort to all of John’s family at this time.
