Johnny Ernest Ranes passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 at his home in Galesburg.  He was born October 25, 1930 in Beulah, Michigan.  He was a Veteran of the Korean war.  He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley, and son John Ranes.  He is survived by his children Shirlene, Jerry (Sheri), Mike (Becky) and Doug Ranes, daughter in law Linda Ranes and significant other, Diane Brisson, for over 20 years. Johnny has 23 grand, 33 great grand and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Cremation has taken place.  No service is planned.
