Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St, Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family for one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
Obituary
Age 72, passed away on Monday night, October 4, 2021. Linda was born in Mishawaka, IN, on January 1, 1949, the daughter of Leo and Lois Ruth Raderstorf. On May 28, 1965, she married Barry Divinny who survives her. She worked for many years for Consumers Energy as a Maintenance Scheduler. Linda loved gardening and flower arranging. She was an avid bowler and she and Barry played in a league for many years. She enjoyed writing stories about and for children. She was an all-around really good person. Besides her husband, Linda is survived by a daughter, Renay; 3 grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Charles (Kathryn) Divinny, Roger (Carol) Divinny, Darryl (Lorna) Divinny; sister-in-law, Pamela Wyatt; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law.
Truly saddened to hear that Linda has passed onto her next journey from this one. I have so many fond memories of her all through my childhood and she was always such a enjoyable person to spend time with; some of my favorite memories included times with her. Sending Barry and the rest of the family so much love and peace.
