Obituary
Age 69 of Kalamazoo passed away Friday morning, March 7, 2025. Linda was born in Brooklyn, NY, on January 19, 1956, the daughter of Fred and Bernadette (Fiore) Cicero. On September 27, 1986, she married John Koning who preceded her in death in 2016. She had worked for many years as a Legal Secretary in New York City. Linda was a loving person, a beautiful soul who cared for others and was loved by those who knew her. Linda is survived by her daughters, Kaitlyn Koning of Covington, KY and Kimberly Koning of Kalamazoo; sisters, Annette Cicero, Lisa (Jim) Maruk; nieces and nephews; and many friends. Besides her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
I was blessed to spend time weekly with Linda as a hospice volunteer. She was such a joy to visit. Although communications were difficult, I will never forget her big smiles and warm hugs. She so loved music and dancing. Our weekly times together were great workout sessions for me! God bless you my dear friend, Linda. It was a joy to know you and I look forward to dancing with you again heaven.
