Obituary
A gift is defined by Webster’s as “a notable capacity, talent or endowment.” Lissa Pride Levering was, at her very core, a gift to all who were lucky enough to know her. She was the first to say, “How much fun would this be?” to practically any opportunity for time together. Her love of family and friends, flowers, musicals, movies, concerts, casinos and karaoke brought joy to so many of us. Her son, Marcus, was her sun, moon and stars and ‘Aunt Lissa\' never missed a chance to spoil her nieces and nephews. Lissa’s brilliant mind and thoughtful nature were evident to anyone who met her and cherished by those who loved her.
Our gift of Lissa was received on December 28, 1978. From that point on, she developed into the generous, fun-loving, happy person that we all knew. On May 3, 2019, our time with Lissa as we knew it came to an end. Without a doubt, her capacity to love, talent to bring joy into the lives of those around her and endowment of the time she shared with us will forever be valued.
Lissa is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucky and Theresa Pride. She is survived by her parents, Scott and Marjorie Pride; her husband and son, Daniel and Marcus Levering; her sisters, Angela Madden, Laura (Matthew) Town and Chelsea (Nicholas) Pride and all the nephews and nieces she loved so dearly, Brandon Madden, Lucky Town, Lyric Town, Sophie Pride and Sawyer Pride.

Lissa will truly be missed. I enjoyed working with her in Peds, she was always so upbeat and positive and I looked forward to seeing and working with her each and every day. She had a kind and caring heart and was always wearing a smile. I will miss you my dear friend.
I am truly happy that I got to know Lisa. She was a kind happy friend. She always volunteered to help anyone in need. She was a true inspiration as a mother and friend.
Lissa was a positive, happy person that saw the best in everyone. She will be deeply missed. Lucky to have had her as my manager, one of the best! We love you lissa! Leanne
