Farewell my love…you shared your heart with me, you showed me joy, compassion and kindness; but most of all, Love. I am incomplete without you, but only briefly. I shall find you again. And then I shall be complete. And then I shall know the heaven you know now.

I can not thank you enough for coming into my brother Jaimes’s life and also into ours. Lori was a wonderful wife and step mom to his kids. Lori had a beautiful kind soul always seeing the good in people. I’ll never forget our family reunion in Puerto Rico, at the crack of dawn she wakes up the whole house yelling the sea turtles have hatched! prompting us all to jump out of bed and run down to the beach to see the beautiful site. Her passion for the beach and sea turtles was immense. What wonderful memories. You will always have a place in our hearts and never be forgotten. Fly high and rest easy sweet Lori. We love you, Bea and Jade

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Heidi remembers Lori mentoring her during nursing clinicals at Bronson Hospital around 2002. Lori was a good teacher, she encouraged Heidi to research and find answers for herself which had a profound impact and still resonates to this day. To Joe & Jen and all of Lori’s family we offer our condolences, love, and prayers.

What a pleasure it was to work side by side with Lori, first as an RN, CNM and later as a DNP in Bronson Maternal Fetal Medicine before her illness forced retirement. Lori was caring, practical, cautious, and intelligent. What an awesome privelege it was to work with her. Lori, I’ve missed ever since you retired and now all I have left is your legacy as a colleague and friend! God bless you and your family. RJA
