Age 77, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Louise was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Harold and Geraldine (DeVall) DerHammer. Louise loved music and was a fan of John Denver. She had a keen interest in Native American history and enjoyed calligraphy and oil painting. Louise is survived by her two sons, Christopher VandenBosch and Brett (Kim) VandenBosch; three sisters, Marilyn (Allan) Lapekas, Nancy Barber and Karen (Butch) Stamm; and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and no service is scheduled.
To Louise’s family I wish to send my condolences to her family, she was a classmate and a very nice person, so sorry for her loss, she will be remembered by all her class mates from Portage High School Class of 1963. She will sadly missed.
