Besides her husband she is survived by stepchildren, Sean Sullivan of Seattle, WA, Laura Sullivan of Portland, OR; siblings Robbie (Dr. Michael) Varsava of Tecumseh, ON, Bill (Mary Michelle) McGee of Grand Rapids, Bob (Donna) McGee of Grand Rapids; sister-in-law, Vicki McGee of Rockford; uncle, Tom McGee; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and countless friends, including two very special friends, Sydney Oxx, Marci Jones and Jeff Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Michael McGee.
I’ll forever remember your sweet smile. You will be missed my dear cousin.
Worked with Mike for many years and have remained close friends since retirement. He has helped my family with very serious problems in last few years and want him to know how terribly sorry I am for the loss of Maggie. Did not know her personally, but have heard many lovely things about her. Pray for peace and strength for him during this sad time.
Dear Michael and all the McGee family, Know that the Aquinas community is holding you in prayerful support as you mourn Maggie’s death. May your faith and memories sustain you and keep her close at heart. God grace you with Gratitude and Peace as you celebrate her life among us and her Eternal Life.
