Obituary
Age 46, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Mark was born in Hesperia, on August 30, 1974, the son of Charles and Denise (Loughridge) Miller. Mark worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for Rose Arbor Hospice and many nursing homes. He enjoyed listening to his patient’s life stories. Mark was one of a kind. He always gave 100% at every job he had and made friends wherever he went. He was a great baker and cook and enjoyed making people happy with these gifts. Mark enjoyed dressing up in costumes for holiday parties, and people looked forward to seeing him at these events, just so they could see what he would come up with. He was a great advocate for animals and loved his three dogs. Mark also had a therapy dog, Mariposa, that he would take to local nursing homes in Kalamazoo. These visits were enjoyed by the patients and they looked forward to seeing Mark and Mariposa. He always said that animals didn’t disappoint like some people would. Mark was liked and loved by so many people. He will be sorely missed. All will agree that he is now at peace and in a better place. All who loved him are happy for him. Mark is survived by his brothers, Randy Miller and Ronald Miller; special friends, Hans Taege and Jerry Vincent; and a special thanks to Susan and Kendall Warren for their love and support.
Mark, you were a light in a sometimes dreary world. We will love and miss you but rejoice you are at peace. Barb and Don
I had the honor of knowing Mark and working with him. Such an amazing person. He made work better and made breaks so much more pleasant. His love of dressing up for every holiday was fun for us all. The things he cooked and baked made my mouth water. I hadn’t seen him for awhile due to COVID, but kept in contact through FB. He must now have the most beautiful wings imaginable.
A kind and gentle soul, Rest In Peace with no more pain.
Mark, I will forever miss seeing your beautiful art work on the board at work. The Angels are fortunate to be able to call you one of their own now. Fly high, my friend.
Loved you Mark and I know you knew that. Some people are given to us by god, to make the rest of our lives better. That was Mark. I hope there is Apricot Brandy in Heaven for you!!
Mark was a real cool dude, even through his quiet and taciturn nature. There was nothing but acceptance and friendliness when I first met him. Super smart, incredibly helpful. This dude is gonna be missed by many. Godspeed, brother.

I had the privilege of working with Mark and even training him! What a wonderful soul that will be missed. He had a very special way of making you feel appreciated, lifting you up when you were down, and doing random acts of kindness. He loved bringing us in his wonderful treats! We still have some of his notes of encouragement on our positivity board at work that we will cherish. We will miss you Mark, but am so glad you are no longer in pain

I didn’t get to know Mark well, but he always brightened my day at work! Delicious baked goods almost every day, and personalized handmade valentines gifts for EVERYONE in the office for Valentine’s Day. He was a great person and will be missed.
Mark and i were neighbors in the early 1980s in Hesperia. I will always smile when i remember meeting Mark. he was standing in his front yard, yelling “BOOKS FOR SALE!” as cars passed by. He had a small bookshelf set up out by the street, and boy could he yell. Mark had charm, charisma, and politeness, even as a boy. His loss is a loss to humanity. My sincere sympathy to you loved ones – including the pups.
You were always such an incredible person , always there when I needed you . Going thru your own stuff and still had time for everyone. I will miss you so much , I’ve been blessed to have you for my cousin and friend . Love you Mark??????
