Obituary
Age 58, passed away at his home on August 25, 2023. He was born in Kalamazoo on April 30, 1965, the son of Kenneth P. and Margaret (Miller) Warnicke. Mark had a loving heart and selfless personality. He had a fantastic and unique sense of humor and made friends with ease. Mark had a desire to serve others which led to a career as both a fireman and paramedic with Kalamazoo Township. Mark was passionate about firefighting and EMS. He always offered to help train newcomers and encouraged them to be the best they could be. When not rushing out to help others, he enjoyed camping, riding his Harley Davidson, or spending time with his Dalmatians. Above all Mark was a family man! He worked hard to provide for those he loved and leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. On December 31, 1999, he married the love of his life Cheryl (Huss) Warnicke who survives. He is also survived by two children, Heather (John) Campbell, Elise Warnicke; two brothers, Paul (Meredith) Warnicke and Phillip (Luanne) Warnicke; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
My condolences to Mark’s family. I worked with Mark many years ago at Mall City and I would see him occasionally at different fire department training classes. Rest In Peace Brother. Duane Woodman Climax Township Fire (Ret.)
I knew Mark for over 30years, I first met Mark when I was working at Total Living Center way back 1989 I think it was. He was an EMT and I was a LPN. He always had a smile and had a great personality. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends 🙏
Fair Winds and Following Seas, Mark. Thank you for everything. I love you, brother -Mikey, Jess, and Florian
