Obituary
Age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 30, following a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Elma Hoyt and a daughter, Carol Spencer. She had worked for 28 years at Eaton Corporation. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Sam) Sanders of Allegan; grand-daughters, Autumn Brosz and Samantha Sanders of Allegan; sister, Joan Ockerman of Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling or Reverence Hospice, c/o the funeral home.
Joan: I am sorry to read of Mary Ellen’ s passing. I enjoyed chatting with her when ever I would see her at Walmart’s in Plainwell. it was always good to see and talk with her as we would catch up on the old neighborhood and neighbors. the neighborhood has changed so much. Always enjoy going to your house and visiting you and Mary Ellen when we were growing up. May she Rest In Peace.
