Michael Eugene Little Jr. of Plainwell, Michigan suddenly and tragically passed away on Friday, June 11th, 2021, at the age of 33. Michael was affectionately known by most as “Little Mike” as he was named after his father. Born on January 9th, 1988, in Kalamazoo Michigan to Michael Little Sr. and Stacie (Bowers) Sutherland. He was raised by his father and step-mother Charity Little. Michael grew up in a loud and busy home with five siblings. It was there he learned his empathy and sensitivity towards others. His smile, laugh, and love reached far and wide - because to know Michael was to love him. You may have found him riding a skateboard, playing basketball or eating hot Cheetos as he was growing up. Michael had his wild side, but he traded that all in for his loving family. Some may have known him by his motorcycle, which he gave up for a minivan. He was incredibly proud to have received his CDL. Michael was proud of every single thing he had but enjoyed the simple things in life and wasn’t hard to please. He would forgive anyone and continue to show the grace of love. He loved playing cards, music of almost any kind and could out eat anyone. Michael worked incredibly hard to provide for his family, and still came home somehow with more to give. If he was proud of anything, he was most proud of his family and was honored and blessed to be a father. He is survived by his wife, Mia (Salinas) Little and four children, Mahrle, Maleigha, MaKayla and Michael III; parents listed above and mother in law, Dawn Sutherland; siblings, Amber Little, Nichole McCormack, Alexis (David) McKeown, Brady Little and Joshua Little; sister and brother in law, Amber (David) Rench and Mid Sutherland; twelve nieces and nephews, Adam Jr., Jordaynn, Matthew Jr., Elias, Atlas, Jordan, Jazmyn, Jerrit, Gracie, Kendall, Azarie, Middie and Geralynn; grandparents, Tim and Pat Lisk, Billie and Dan Spencer, Tim Snape, and Mike Luteyn; many special uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Sharon Hartwick, Margie Snape and Beth Bowers; father-in- law, Mid Sutherland.

Mike was a good kindhearted guy ,who I am proud I was able to call a friend and brother.He will be missed dearly , but never will be forgotten.Love you Mike rest in peace.Until we meet again.
I’ve loved this boy since the day he was born. When he was a baby, he couldn’t say my daughter’s name(Jamie), he would always laugh and snort and say “Mimi!”. We still call her that to this day. I will never forget him, will think of him as long as I am on this earth. I pray for his family daily, and always will. I have known his parents, all of them, since almost a child myself, one of them since a child. My heart aches for you all, and his brothers and sisters. I am here for all of you, and Mia and the kids, for anything you need, even just to talk or a shoulder to lean on.
