A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Hope Church, 910 Jenks Blvd. Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family two hours prior to the service at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Centrica Care Navigators or Hope Church Youth Programs, honoring her lifelong dedication to children and education.
Obituary
Born in Kalamazoo, MI, Nancy Musk was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend who touched countless lives with her kindness, love, and unwavering support. She passed away on Thursday evening, February 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, compassion, and dedication to family and community.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Tom and the proud mother of three sons, Matt (Deb), Nathan (Jen), and Ryan (Jessica). She adored her six grandchildren—Jaxson, Easton, Kylie, Anni, Grace, and Logan—who brought her endless joy. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into making every moment with them special. Nancy is also survived by her siblings, Judy (Rodger) Storteboom, Diane (Harold) Slater, Kathy (Chris) Slocum and Rev. Jim (Karen) Noggle; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Noggle; sisters, Caron Crumley and Suzi Taylor.
A passionate educator, Nancy spent her career as an elementary school teacher, shaping young minds with patience and encouragement. She also devoted time to teaching Sunday School, sharing her faith and kindness with generations of children. Whether in the classroom or at home, Nancy’s nurturing spirit and gentle wisdom made a lasting impact on everyone she met.
Those who knew Nancy will remember her as a beacon of love and support, always there with a warm smile, a listening ear, and an open heart. She had a way of making people feel valued and cherished, and her kindness extended far beyond her family, touching friends, colleagues, and students alike.
Nancy’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
I will miss my dear friend. She is now with her Savior Jesus Christ. She touched so many lives. She faithfully taught my children and grandchildren about Christ Jesus. So We have the glorious promise of seeing her again! Prayers for Tom and family.
