Memorial contributions in Nina’s memory may be made to the Resident’s Activity Fund at Medilodge of Kalamazoo, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 77, passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Nina was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on September 15, 1940, the daughter of the late Alonzo M. and Harriett M. (Neilson) Gettig. On May 5, 1962, she was united in marriage to Russell A. Reeves, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1967. Nina was also preceded in death by her son, Rodney Reeves; step-daughter, Marilyn Lounsbery; grandson, Chad Nissen; sisters, Glenda Scott and Barbara Rankin; and sister-in-law and best friends, Alice Gettig and Barbara (Douglas) Swihart. Nina is survived by her children, Jeff (Brenda) Reeves, Eva Reeves and Greg (Kim) Reeves; step-children, Larry (Jean) Reeves and Marsha Reeves; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Harley Gettig and a host of nieces and nephews.
