Nora (Mom) had a zest for life, vibrant personality that people gravitated to like a magnet, and she dreamed big. She told me many times how she greatly loved all of her children, and extended family. Minnie Mouse held a special place in her heart that was symbolic of her positive outlook on life. I have had the pleasure to know her and love her as my “second Mom” since 1978, more than 45 years. During healthier days gone by, she, her son Don, and I had lots of fun in Kalamazoo, Orlando, and places in between, creating fond memories of our times together. I send heartfelt condolences to each member of her family, and wishes for them to find future comfort and peace from their reflection on fond memories of her. I also extend to all family members warm hugs, sloppy kisses, lots of love, and unbounded hope for happiness to evolve from grief in times ahead.

Nora you were quite a lady, I will always have fond memories with you. I met you through your daughter Karla when I was very young and at the age of 19 I married your daughter. Though our marriage wasn’t a long one you were always kind to me and treated me as one of your own. May you rest in peace now for you have finished your work here.

This is only goodnight, my sweet angel, but never goodbye. You will live on in my heart and in the hearts of so many others who knew you forever. You’re missed every day and you’re remembered every hour. Stand tall in the amazing grace and eternal love of our heavenly father, Jesus Christ. In no time at all we will be together again. Rest well, mom. I will love you always and always.
