A celebration of Noreene’s life will be planned when it is once again safe to gather. Interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South. Memorial contributions may be given to the Parchment Athletic Boosters Club.
Obituary
Age 81, Noreene passed away at home on February 2, 2021. She was born in Kalamazoo on June 7, 1939, the daughter of the late Larry and Dorothy (VanGennep) Angel. If you knew Noreene, you knew she dedicated her life to her family and above all else, they came first. Having two sons at a young age, she worked multiple jobs to make sure her family was taken care of. Never did she think of herself first. Noreene also touched many, many lives outside of her family and it was well known that she would help anyone at any time. Noreene worked until she was 80 to make sure she was positioned to help when and where she could. Her two sons and family were truly blessed to have the best mom and grandma anyone could ask for. Noreene is survived by her sons, Larry Bailey and Mike (Brenda) Bailey; granddaughters, Mallory and Kelsey Bailey; great-grandson, Connor Cook; brother, Bill (Uma) Angel; former daughter in-law, Kelly Kenney; cousin, Alice Dunfield; special friends, Dorothy Martin, Shirley Smith, Irene Fletcher, Sharon Butcher, Ursula Morey and Donna Heighton and the father of her children, Don Bailey. Besides her parents, Noreene was preceded in death by her brother, Don Hentschel; her husbands, Jim Walsh and Paul Crouch; and her grandson, Michael Bailey, who was her pride and joy.
So sorry to hear of her passing. She was truly a wonderful caring woman, and was also a true friend. Larry, Mike and family, you are in our prayers. Jeff & Annette Sorensen
I can’t even begin to describe the positive and undeserving impact that this family has had on my life. Losing my own mother at an early age was buffered by Noreene who basically was my 2nd mom. She was good to her family and to all of us who were welcomed into their loving home. God Bless you all.
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Noreene Anne. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and I will always remember how she cared for my grandma Mary. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Love, Kerrie

I have been thinking about her alot lately so I decided to try to call. I just found out she passed away. Nor was big part of my life we worked together for 12 years at Eastland. She was like mom to me. I would always go to her for advice she was such a wise woman. After I left Eastland life got hard and I didn’t stay in touch as much as I should have. I’m sorry nor u will be deeply missed.
