Obituary

Patricia Gayle Skartsiaris, age 81, passed away at her home on August 21, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Kalamazoo on March 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Nilah (Prough) Mann. She was raised in Comstock and would remain a resident of the area. On July 1, 1972, she married the love of her life Theodore Skartsiaris who preceded her in passing in 2024. Together they began a family and raised four wonderful children. Pat loved being a homemaker and caring for her family was the greatest joy of her life. Her heart and home were always open. Pat hosted all the holidays and loved the Halloween and Christmas seasons when her family was gathered. She also enjoyed family camping trips, vacations, going to NASCAR races, watching gameshows and soap operas. She loved pretty things that sparkled and enjoyed picking out jewelry and other fashions. Some of Pat’s fondest memories came from being a grandmother. She loved having the kids stay over and rarely missed a sporting event or important moment they were in. Patricia’s kind smile and gentle heart will be missed by all who knew her and she will be missed. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Daniel Tiffany, Brian Tiffany, Stacy (Craig) Schuring; five grandchildren, Brittney (Shawn Newmun) Edwards, Kyle (Laura) Edwards, Jessica (Chris) Landgon, Joshua Tiffany, James Shuring, Fallon (Jack Rustenhholtz) Schuring; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Scott Tiffany; many siblings and in-laws.
